🎸 A story of dreams, guitar, and stars: 'Seven Evenings'

There are no coincidences in this story. It began long before 2002, in the hallways of Miass School No. 7, where the future founders of one of the town's coziest venues — Nadezhda and Anatoly Krylov — met and became friends. Who would have thought that youthful friendship and a love for author's song would lead to the creation of a true cultural hub?

From aerospace to cuisine
Nadezhda Krylova, a native of Miass, never imagined her professional path would be tied to cooking. A graduate of the Aerospace Faculty of South Ural State University, she was preparing for a career at a design bureau, but life had other plans. The main inspiration for change came from her husband Anatoly, a passionate performer of bard songs. He was the one who dreamed of creating a place in the city that would become a "refuge for fans of bard music."

Birth of a legend
The official opening of the club-cafe 'Seven Evenings' took place on February 7, 2002. The first to step onto the new stage was the renowned singer-songwriter from St. Petersburg, Vyacheslav Kovalev, setting a high standard for all future guests. From the very beginning, 'Seven Evenings' was conceived not just as a cafe. Nadezhda Krylov emphasized: "It would be more accurate to call 'Seven Evenings' a club-cafe, because we host not only fans of amateur song but also other creative personalities — musicians."

More than just a cafe
Over the years, 'Seven Evenings' became a true cultural phenomenon in Miass. Already in 2007, for the club's fifth anniversary, the city newspaper "Glagol" wrote: "The team led by Nadezhda Krylov managed to create a cultural center that plays a significant role in the life of Miass." Here, they not only sang with guitars. The club organized the youth festival "Fresh Wind," which gathered up to 200 participants and discovered new talents, such as Anna Plis, future Grand Prix winner of the famous Ilmen Festival. Legends performed on this stage: Oleg Mityaev, Alexander Gorodnitsky, Viktor Tretyakov, and many others. The club's regular guests and friends include local musicians whose names are now well-known: Robert Kur, Tatiana Klochikhina, Elena Rykova, and others.

A named star
A symbolic recognition of their achievements came in 2017. In its 15th anniversary year, the club-cafe 'Seven Evenings' received a certificate registering a new star in the Andromeda constellation named "ET SEPTEM NOCTIBUS," which translates from Latin as "Seven Evenings." Just imagine — a small cozy cafe from Miass now has its own corner in the universe.

The secret of success
Behind it all lies humility, hard work, and a genuine love for what they do, which Nadezhda and Anatoly have always held dear. "We dreamed of such a place for a very long time... we just really wanted it," recalls Nadezhda. And today, years later, 'Seven Evenings' still has that same, almost homely atmosphere. There's no corkage fee, but there is live music, delicious food, and great company. Just as two school friends once dreamed.
